THERE IS / THERE ARE

We use there is (singular)/ there are (plural) to say that something exists or doesn’t exist, happens and how many. There is: only one thing or uncountable nouns. Example: There is a book on the table. There are: two or more things (plural nouns). Example: There are two books on the table. Write some sentences with there is, there are, there was and there were in their affirmative, negative and interrogative forms.
